Cookie Policy
Most cookie policies are long because the site is doing a lot of tracking. Ours is short because it is doing almost none, and this page names the one thing it does.

The short version
There is one cookie on this website, and it is there because we pay for adverts and need to know which ones work. It is set by Google Ads on cheqam.com, it tells us an advert brought you here, and it expires after 90 days.
It is not in the app. Once you sign in to TailoredFlow at app.cheqam.com there is no advertising tag, no analytics tag and no tracking pixel of any kind. Your orders, your customers and your stock are never sent to an advertising network. We would not build it that way, and the records belong to your business rather than to us.
We have also switched off ad personalisation, which is the setting that would otherwise let Google use that cookie to follow you around other websites. We do not sell your browsing behaviour to anyone.
Everything else we keep is local storage, a small amount of space in your own browser where the app remembers your preferences and keeps you signed in. It stays on your device. It is not sent to advertisers, and unlike a cookie it is not attached to every request to our servers.
The full list is below, and it is short enough to read. If you would rather the advertising cookie was not set at all, any browser setting or extension that blocks third-party tags will stop it, and the website and the app both work normally without it.

In addition, our sign-in provider (Google Firebase) stores a session token in your browser to keep you signed in between visits. Without it you would have to log in again on every page. Signing out clears it.
What we do not use
- No retargeting. Ad personalisation is off, so the Google Ads cookie counts a click and nothing more; it is not used to show you our adverts elsewhere.
- No advertising or analytics tag of any kind inside the app at app.cheqam.com.
- No third-party analytics running on the site. Our hosting produces ordinary server logs, and those are used to keep the service up and secure, not to profile you.
- No social media tracking pixels. The social links in our footer are ordinary links; they do not report back to us or load anything until you click them.
- No selling or sharing of your browsing behaviour.
Clearing it
You can clear local storage at any time through your browser's settings, usually under “Clear browsing data” or “Site settings”. Doing so is safe: it does not touch your business records, which are held on our servers, not in your browser.
The practical effects are that you will be signed out, your appearance preference resets, any device you had paired a receipt printer with will need pairing again, and an unsaved order draft on that device is lost.
You can also block storage entirely in your browser, but the app needs it to keep you signed in, so it will not work properly with it switched off.
The advertising cookie is cleared the same way, under “Cookies and site data”. You can also opt out of Google’s advertising cookies across every site that uses them at adssettings.google.com.
Changes
If we add anything else that tracks you, we will update this page before it goes live and say so plainly in the text rather than quietly adding a line to a table — which is what we did when the advertising cookie above went in. Questions: [email protected].
